The accommodation is very expensive but it’s lovely to live in. The cleaners are very efficient and come round periodically. The beds are comfortable but need a mattress topper ideally of memory foam. The rooms themselves are very up to date and stylish.
The lecture halls are beautiful and very spacious with big screens. The library is massive and always has space for doing revision - it includes all the books you’ll need plus a load more for research. The student bars are very cheap and have a friendly atmosphere and everyone enjoys going to them.
The course is engaging and has so much interesting content that it’s got something for everyone. The lecturers are passionate about their subject and so always make an effort to inform the students of what they need to know and some extra interesting points. The slides are well structured and it’s easy to revise from them - as well as the lecture recordings. The RPS scheme is super fun and it’s a great chance to learn more about working in a psychological field.
The city life is interesting. The town mostly consists of musicians and students. There are loads of shops around and a beach nearby. The cathedral is a beautiful site to see everyday. I always feel safe walking in the city at night and enjoy going to town as it’s such a warm and friendly place to be.
It’s a lot of work but it’s very interesting so its doesn’t feel too bad. The psychology lecturers are always there’s to help you if you get stuck. There are people from all walks of life in the lectures and it’s a great chance to met new people and also develop more understanding for others. The work is tough as there is a lot of content to remember but it’s helps to have such an engaging class that are willing to help you along the way. There are usually a lot of students so it’s not difficult to find others who want to help you or study with you.

Very pricey but very good quality, there’s been recent refurbishments to the older accomadation to renew them and make them a lot nicer, there’s lots of options in terms of room size and bathrooms so there’s something for everyone
The library is good but it’s impossible to find somewhere to sit during the majority of the day as it’s so busy, so I tend to use study hubs around campus as they’re less busy. Sports areas are good but not worth the extortionate price in my opinion. Bars are good and offer a decent price on food and drink
Have a few female lectures which is nice to see in this subject area. The lectures are recorded which is helpful if you miss one or want to go over it if you don’t understand the work.
City life is good, lots of bars, pubs, and restaurants of all cuisines so there’s something for everyone. Buses are all night so it’s easy to get back to campus without having to pay for a taxi
It can be difficult to understand certain things and pick up the programming skills but the more work you put in the more you get out of it. Programming in particular is a skill that requires time and effort, but don’t put all your time into it as the other modules are just as important
